That's The Same Road, That Same Road That I Am On

Taking a break from my psych essay
I probably shouldn't, but my brain demands it!
And you may be wondering, why is she working on homework so late?
Well A, I frequently do, B, I actually have a reason for it tonight
Meagen called me up really upset
Her room mates had ganged up yelling at her again
Assholes
So of course I spent most of the evening trying to calm her down and cheer her up
Because the wellbeing of my best friend is way more important then homework
Actually, that goes for the wellbeing of all my friends
I would die for any one of you
And when you're in pain, I almost always feel it too
And I know they feel mine too
That's what friendship is
Feeling for one another
And helping one another
When one falls, the other picks them up
And I'm so grateful for all the times you guys have picked me up
I really appriciate it
Even though I frequently feel like I don't deserve it
But as long as we're friends, none of you are alone
Just like I know that I'm not alone

Back to essay methinks

Song of the entry:

The Road I'm On by 3 Doors Down

She said life's a lot to think about sometimes
When you're living in between the lines

And all the stars they sparkle and shine everyday

He said life's so hard to move in sometimes
When it feels like I'm towin' the line
And no one even cares to ask me why I feel this way

I know you feel helpless now and I know you feel alone
That's the same road, the same road that I am on

He said life's a lot to think about sometimes
When you keep it all between the lines

Of everything I want and I want to find, one of these days

What you thought was real in life somehow steered you wrong
Now you just keep drivin' tryin' to find out where you belong

I know you feel helpless now and I know you feel alone
That's the same road, that same road that I am on

What you thought was real in life somehow steered you wrong
Now you just keep drivin' tryin' to find out where you belong

I know you feel helpless now and I know you feel alone
That's the same road, that same road that I am on
