There's A Fine, Fine Line Between Love And A Waste Of Time
So, as terrifying as that was, it could of been alot worse
Still gave me a panic attack, mind you, but, she seemed to take it okay
I mean, as okay as someone takes something like that
I guess I should explain
For about a half a year or so, I've had a crush on one of my cloest friends, Meagen
About a handful of people knew about this, and were all sworn to secrecy
Why?
Because Meagen is straight
So, it would only lead to awkwardness
At this point, I can honestly say I'm over it
In fact, talking to her about helped me reach some closure
I was still terrified and panicy the whole time...
But that was mostly just fear
And I was stupid to even think for a second that this stuff could come between our friendship
Does this mean next time I crush on a friend, I'll just tell them?
Probably not XD
I'm horribly shy
But I was tired of lying and making excuses about not talking to her about it
And my other friends were right
It did help
And probably cleared up any confusion that was there, on both sides
Was it dissapointing?
Well, sort of. But not as much I expected
But man, between that and trying to decide if I want to keep my Mom's wedding dress or not...
I'm drained, emotionally
Family Guy helped revive a little of that, but not enough
I think it may be time for some Katamari Damacy :D
Case in point, letting go of useless crushes and such can be relieving
But painful during the process
Song of the Entry:
A Fine, Fine Line from Avenue Q
There's a fine, fine line between a lover and a friend;
There's a fine, fine line between reality and pretend;
And you never know 'til you reach the top if it was worth the uphill climb.
There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time.
There's a fine, fine line between a fairy tale and a lie;
And there's a fine, fine line between "You're wonderful" and "Goodbye."
I guess if someone doesn't love you back it isn't such a crime,
But there's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of your time.
And I don't have the time to waste on you anymore.
I don't think that you even know what you're looking for.
For my own sanity, I've got to close the door
And walk away...
Oh...
There's a fine, fine line between together and not
And there's a fine, fine line between what you wanted and what you got.
You gotta go after the things you want while you're still in your prime...
There's a fine, fine line between love
And a waste of time.
