Okay, now it's time to talk about my dear friend, the Harry Potter fandom
What is up with all the female hate in this fandom?
For instance, no one seems to like Tonks, espically once she was paired with Remus
Now mind you, I am a rabid Remus/Sirius fan, and I was a little WTF? about  it but not because I suddenly hated Tonks
I adore Tonks, I just thought it was really random of JK Rowling to suddenly pair her with Remus Besides. I like pairing her with other girls
Ginny got alot of hate after the sixth book too. Why? because she was paired with Harry and not Draco?
She's an interesting character, and I sure as hell like her alot more than Harry
And Hermione gets a whole lot of character bastardization and bashing  She and Ron are canon, stop whining

But my point is this: Why must you bash a female just because she supposedly gets in the way of your yaoi coupling or whatever
I mean, it happens in every fandom
Kindgom Hearts: Kairi gets bashed for getting in the way of Riku and Sora
Naruto: This is as bad as the HP fandom in alot of ways, but the most obvious example is Sakura, who is shoved aside meanly so Sasuke and Naruto can get paired up
Gundam Wing: Relena

And I could think of a million other examples, but I think all of you get the point

I'm not saying to not ship your pairings, but it's not nessasry to bash other characters in the process
Why not writing around them instead, using that challenge, that obstacle to fuel the characters?
Nothing serves a character better then obstacles and developement

I mean, really people, would it be that hard?
