If I Don't Make Known That I Loved You All Along
So, going into Target was a mistake
They had Mother's day displays everywhere
And then when I was looking through the books, they had the new Stephen King book on display. Something I would totally buy for my mother, if she was alive. He was her favorite author.
And then It Just Is by Rilo Kiley started playing on iKenren, and I ended up just standing there in the store for a while, crying.
You know, as time goes by, I don't think about is as much anymore, but there are still times where I miss my mother so much it feels almost unbearable. It was a complicated relationship, and sometimes, I still find myself resenting her, just a little, even though so much of it wasn't her fault, but looking back, most of what I remember is how much I loved her.
