Ahhhhhhhhhhh new writing from you!!! I'm not really up to date on this show but I don't careeee. You paint Wynonna's headspace and situation so clearly that I don't even need canon. The progression of her feelings about loss and motherhood are heartbreaking, and I love how unsentimental she is and this work is about it.

Other times they lie next to one another, backs facing each other as if they cannot stand to look at one another’s faces anymore. Even in those moments they don’t want to be alone.
