Ashes To Ashes, Fun To Funky...
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG
The Bowie Concert was sooo awesome!
Seriously, I knew it would be good, but not that good!
First of all, he opened with Rebel Rebel, a song which I majorly heart
Then he launches into a bunch of others, including three I did not expect: The Man Who Sold The World, Ashes To Ashes, and Under Pressure
They all happen to be my top favorite Bowie songs too
Oh, and one part he was like "This song shows how I hate Americans" and then broke into I'm Afraid Of Americans
Then after that he was like "And this song shows my love for Americans. It's our song too, but mostly yours" and broke into Heroes
Which he ended the show on
And we were kinda dissapointed, because he hadn't done any Ziggy Stardust songs
but then he came back for an Encoure and did four from that album!
Soo cool!
I could of died happily after that
Kinda sad he didn't do Young Americans, or Changes, but you can't do everything....
Ooh, and I bought a shirt, which I plan on wearing to school tommorow
Heh...Mitchell called a bit ago, it's funny, everyone at this point knows it's common knowledge that ten to one, I won't be sleeping yet...
Speaking of which, I should probably do that about now
After all, must be awake for the car ride in the morning to ask my grandma about stuff for the weekend...
Going to try to go over to see Mitchell, even if only for a couple of hours...
I shall leave you with my favorite part of my favorite David Bowie song, Ashes To Ashes
I've Never Done Good Things
I've Never Done Bad Things
I've Never Done Anything Out Of The Blue
Want An Axe To Break The Ice
Want To Come Down Right Now
Ashes To Ashes, Fun To Funky
We All Know Major Tom's A Junkie
Strung Out On Heaven's High
Hitting An All Time Low
My Mama Said To Get Things Done
Better Not Mess With Major Tom
