desertions | My Body's A Temple, But Nothing Is Simple

I might as well sleep with him
Really, half of my family seems to assume it's inevitable anyways
*takes a deep breath*
I suppose I should start with the beginning...
So, for a long time now I've been planning on staying with Mitchell and his friends at a hotel for Anime Expo, right?
Well now my uncle, one of my two legal guardians, the other being my grandma, suddenly decides this is not okay
And why?
Because "accidents happen"
In other words, he thinks I'm going to have sex with Mitchell
Here is just part of the conversation:
Me: But the boys and girls have seperate rooms
Uncle Matt: Oh, cause no one can just walk over to the other room
Me: Yeah, that's right, but his friends are going to be there. What do you think I'm going to do, go over and have sex with him infront of his friends? Not my idea of my first time
Uncle Matt:I'm not saying you're going to do that
Me: Really? Cause that's what it sounded like to me! You know, Baba's been okay with this for a while
Uncle Matt: Well sometimes Baba gets overworked and doesn't think things through
Me: She also knows him, and his family, and the whole situation
Uncle Matt: No one really knows themselves until they change Katie

And that was just *part* of it
So needless to say, now he and my grandma are going to see if they can each spend a night at the hotel, and I'll have to stay with them. My uncle would be there Friday, and my grandma on Saturday. Then on Sunday night I'll probably have to go stay with my cousins who live in Tustin, which isn't too far from Anaheim...

This really sucks...I've paid for the hotel and everything, and they aren't even giving me a chance!

I'll need to call Mitchell tonight and give him the heads up about what's happening, well as soon as I know anyways...

At least I got all my regristration stuff done...
Now...I better get off before my uncle comes home and finds me on his computer...
