My Mind's Made Up, The Way That I Feel

So, everyone seems to be having theirs rants about Christmas lately
So of course, I have to put my own two cents in the ring
Cause that's just the way I am
Okay, I get that being overly emo just cause it's Christmas is annoying
But keep in mind, not everyone has happy Christmas memories
And nothing makes people more aware of it then all the propaganda that things should be perfect
Other people are just going through really difficult situations
And others just get sad during winter, it's called Seasonal Affective Disorder, and is an actual condition

But, no matter the situation, here's how I think you can deal with it
You have one of two choices
You can dwell in it
You can decide to be miserable and that nothing is worth being happy over
You can let everything little thing make you emo
You can even try to bring down those around you

Or...there's plan two, the plan I'm personally trying to take
Well, to the best of my ability anyways
And that's to make the best of what you have
Yeah, you may not of had the best times in the past
Like with me...my mom just died, but I'm trying not to concentrate on that
Instead, I'm trying to focus on what I do have
Like my family and friends
And dude...free stuff is usually pretty good, ne?
I got to see Meagen for the first time in ages, thanks to Christmas Break
And the Cookie Party was awesome
Even if I probably picked up my illness from Michael

So yeah, it's okay to be sad, hell, cry if you need to
But don't go all emo kiddy on me?
The world ain't going to end cause Santa didn't bring you that new XBox 360
