Choose a fictional character that you believe is similar to you in looks and/or personality and answer the following questions. Then tag 5 people to do the same.
I chose Gojyo from Saiyuki. Not that anyone is surprised, I'm sure.
1. How is this character like you?
Other than the smoking and womanizing and excessive drinking, I'm alot like Gojyo. Though my mother never abused me physically or tried to kill me, because she was so mentally unwell, I ended up with a very bad mother figure, and often thought she would be better off if I was dead. If I could stop her crying, then it didn't matter what would happen to me. I have abandonment issues, and often put up a joking, sarcastic facade to keep people at bay, because it hurts too much to let them close. I curse alot, and like to make dirty jokes. My friends are very important to me, and though it's hard for me to get close to people once I do, they have my loyalty for life. Gojyo is very much like a grown up child, and find myself to be the same. It took him a long time to work through some of his issues and become more comfortable with who he is, and I have been going through that same long journey myself. We both do things to help others when all we really want sometimes is for someone to come help us.
2. What differences are there between you and this character?
He's a half breed, I'm human. He smokes, I don't. He gambles, I do not. He has lots of sex, I do not. He drinks alot more than I do. That's about it. Oh. And he has a penis. I don't D:
3. Do you like or dislike this character?
Smoking is kind of gross :c
4. Would you date this character if they existed in real life?
Probably :3
5. Are there any canon relationships this character has that are similar to ones you have?
My relationship with my mom was kind of like his with his mother, except without the abuse. My best friend Suu is probably as close to me as his best friend, Hakkai, is, but without all the homosexual subtext. And I didn't find her bleeding in the rain. But that's about it.
