You Were Talking About The End of The World...
Bah.
I hate how sadness keeps hitting me in waves
It's like a sucker punch
It's like a bad wave of nausea I can't hold down
I wish everything didn't feel like the end of the world
I'm sure things aren't as bad as they seem
I got most of my english paper done today, I suppose that's good
I tried to do more, but my brain couldn't stay foccused
I really need to buckle down though
After all, I do still want to graduate
I'll probably take next week off too, if my psychologist deems it nessesary
Anything to get me to feel better and avoid hospitalization
My birthday is coming up soon
Not sure what I'm going to do about that
Hell, I don't even know what my plans for this weekend will end up being
I want to go to the Tanners friday, but my grandma is hesitant
She thinks it might be too overwhelming for me
Oh, and Las Vegas wasn't overwhelming?!
Seriously, I think it might help cheer me up a bit, if she lets me
I really want to see everyone again
Three months is way too long
But we'll see.
Man, I'm addicted to this song
And not just cause I have a snazzy Saiyuki AMV for it either >>
One of my favorite U2 songs even
Oh, and I'll try to start on those drabbles/fics soon
Song of the Entry:
Until the End of The World by U2
Haven't seen you in quite a while
I was down the hold just passing time
Last time we met was a low-lit room
We were as close together as a bride and groom
We ate the food, we drank the wine
Everybody having a good time
Except you
You were talking about the end of the world
I took the money
I spiked your drink
You miss too much these days if you stop to think
You lead me on with those innocent eyes
You know I love the element of surprise
In the garden I was playing the tart
I kissed your lips and broke your heart
You...you were acting like it was
The end of the world
(Love...love...)
In my dream I was drowning my sorrows
But my sorrows, they learned to swim
Surrounding me, going down on me
Spilling over the brim
Waves of regret and waves of joy
I reached out for the one I tried to destroy
You...you said you'd wait
'til the end of the world
I hate how sadness keeps hitting me in waves
