Setting The Stage
Hah, I should be doing homework
But instead I wrote backstory for some original characters of Meagen and I's
Okay, so here's what you need to know before reading it
Celeb and Alec were originally part of a DBZ story I was writing and with other people
Meagen and I have changed their origins slightly, taken them out of the DBZ verse and slowly am pairing them together

Celeb's body ached more than anything else. She could barely open her eyes she was in so much pain. Her clothing was slashed to shreds, leaving her more or less naked. Her hair was missing chunks, and streaked with the red of her blood. If help did not come soon, she would most likely die. And she no longer cared. She was tired of fighting. Her family was gone, as was her home, and now he had taken away her pride as well. What was there left to live for? Dr. Flare had left her in this room alone to die, and it suited her just fine. But as she began to slip into unconsciousness, she heard someone coming. Did they not know that it was too late to save her now?
Alec's jaw dropped slightly as he opened the room. From the screams and cries he heard, he knew exactly what his father had done, but never had he imagined how vicious he had been to the foreign princess. Luckily for him though, Celeb was unconscious. If she was awake, in this state, she would probably try to fight him. Which would make it all the harder to help her out. For some reason, helping her seemed to be of the utmost importance, if to only soothe conscious.
But this is starting late into the story, isn't it? Who is Celeb, and who is Alec, what is their connection and what brought them to this situation? It is easily explained, yet not so all at the very same time.
Celeb was a princess of a faraway planet, one's who name is has long since forgotten. At age five she was kidnapped from her home and taken to the planet Ryuten where she has been a prisoner and lab rat ever since. The many experiments they preformed on her changed her strength and fighting ability, along with her appearance. Her once long brown tail was now jet-black, and her once onyx eyes, silver. Her hair grows in irregular lengths, her bangs reaching her shoulders while the rest only reached her chin. Her instense and fast fighting style earned her the nickname Celeb Ryu, the silver dragon.
Alec is the son of the ruler of Ryuten and head scientist, Dr. Flare. Like all inhabitants of Ryuten he has large fiery red wings, the symbol of their phoenix-based heritage. His black hair was short and unruly, it was as if it had a mind of it's own sometimes. His brilliant blue eyes were usually hidden behind glasses and a book. He used to perform all of his fathers biddings, conducting horrible experiments, but lately he has found himself questioning his father's morals.
Which brings us back to the present, or actually, the near present, as there is more thing that needs to be addressed. What exactly happened to Celeb? Well, to put it simply, she was raped. Nothing is ever that simple though. Celeb was beaten and raped and left to die because she was considered to be of no more use. Dr. Flare had felt her to be a failed experiment, so he had his fun with her, and then left her to bleed to death. But, things don’t always work out the way they had planned.
Alec had been in the room next door and had heard what his father was doing. With the way Celeb had cried and yelled out, it was easy to tell she was being tortured, and knowing his father, he knew just what kind of torture it would be.
So that’s why he was standing there in the room of a woman who would probably kill him, if she were given the chance. Because if he didn’t help her, she would die. No one else knew she was there, and even if they did, they probably wouldn’t care. But for some reason, he did. Sighing softly, he bent down, and wrapped his arms around her waist and under her leg and picked her up. He couldn’t stay here, his father would kill him both if they did.
So Alec headed to the spaceship that was his own. It was small, but it would work. He laid Celeb on the bed, and programmed the ship for take off. Once they were safe and in orbit, he programmed the quadrants for F'ralis, the planet of Neko-jins, cat-people. He knew that there was a large movement against his father there, so they would probably help them.
Alec spent all of his time working on Celeb’s wounds, and after about a week, she finally awoke again. Funny, this didn’t look like heaven, or like hell for that matter. It looked rather like a ship. It was about then that she noticed Alec standing there. As she did she let out a soft hiss, backing away from his as he was trying to treat the gashes across her stomach. “What the fuck do you think you’re doing Nerd-boy,” she demanded, venom in her voice. “Trying to take your father’s sloppy seconds?!”
Ouch. Alec actually flinched at that one. Not that he hadn’t expected her to be volatile, but he never expected it to be quite so insulting. He probably hated his father as much as she did, and here she was comparing him to the bastard! Slowly, he began to clear his throat, “Actually, I saved you. Had it not been for me, you’d probably be dead.”
Celeb snorted, still huddling as far away from him as she could on the bed, not trusting him at all. “Like that would be a bad thing? Look, if you’re expecting me to be grateful, you should of rescued someone else.”
Alec sighed as he turned to look at how much longer the trip would be.
This was going to be the longest week of his life
