I love when I can disect a song with a friend
It's always interesting to get another view on things
Me and Meagen were doing just that with the song Bleed Like Me by Garbage

MoonGoddessSK: It's like a Simon and Garfunkel song, catchy tune but sad lyrics

Blade the Genet: That song speaks to me, the other way around XD I don't see myself as any of the characters in the song, but at the person going, "...Neh, I can't bleed like you >.>"
MoonGoddessSK: Heh. I can see bits of myself in some of the characters in the song, but I also relate to the sentiment behind it, needing to know someone feels the way you do, that you're not the only one with these problems
MoonGoddessSK: And yet at the end, when she says "try to comprehend what you'll never comprehend" you get the sense that she knows people will never totally understand
Blade the Genet: Exactly. I feel like the person the song is to, y'know? The person who tries, but knows they can't really know what it's like
MoonGoddessSK: Yeah. I can relate to both parts. Cause yeah, I can relate to it, but some stuff, like the first verse about anorexia, I can understand the concept, but I don't really understand

MoonGoddessSK: You know, Shirley Manson herself has had a self injury problem
Blade the Genet: I did not know that

So yeah, awesomeness
I personally adore the song
I can relate to alot of the sentiment, and it has such a great tune to go along with the lyrics
Either this or Happy Home are my favorites of the new cd
