desertions | Harry Potter and The Half Blood Prince Review

Okay, to get TEH BIG ONE out of the way: Snape Kills Dumbledore. I wasn't that shocked. I always was skeptical about Snape and his double agent status. Yeah, it'll be a big deal with Dumbledore dead and everything, but I just was annoyed more than anything else. It didn't effect me nearly as much as Sirius Black

Harry/Ginny- I've always been somewhat of a Ginny/Neville fan myself, but to be honest, I knew this one was going to happen sooner or later

Ron and Hermione just need to shag already and get it over with. 'Nuff said.

I liked hearing about how Lupin became a werewolf. I always did want to know the backstory behind that one.

Lupin/Tonks- I would of been okay with this, had it been explained better. I felt like she just threw it in as it to say "OMG REMUS IS TOTALLY NOT GAY" Ah, but this all happens AFTER Sirius dies. And it's not at all suspicious that it's with one of Sirius' relatives? Really. My ship is fine. Sirius is dead. And I doubt Remus is a necropheliac (Though I'm sure Passo would be happy to show me otherwise. *inside joke, sorta*)

Snape was the Half Blood Prince. I actually thought was kind of cool. I like AssholeDeathEater!Snape alot more than WhinySchoolTeacher!Snape

She didn't explain the veil thing. Bitch.

No Marauder!Flashback this time. Sadness

I felt bad about Aragog dying....

I liked McGonagall in this one, alot. Espically when she insulted Neville's grandma

So glad Draco didn't turn good. I get highly amused by WhinyWhimpyAssholeCanon!Draco and want to stab Fandom!Draco

Narcissa intrigues me, alot. I think Bellatrix would too, but she killed Sirius, so a POX on her

All and all, I'm still absorbing it all, I just finished it like an hour ago.
It seemed rushed more than anything else, like she just wanted to get this one of out of the way

I'm really waiting for Meagen to finish it more than anyone else. I enjoy my Harry Potter discussions with her more than the ones I have with just about anyone else.

Oh! And I saw Shoeboxers at the Borders thing
It was awesome
We kept shouting out "I Do Believe In Commas, I Do, I Do!" through the store
And various other fangirlly things
