Otherwise I'm Great, What About You?
Bad news: My laptop would not hook up to the wireless here because it needs Service Pack two. Phil will be bringing a cd with this next week. Woe.
Good news: I can use the desktop in my room for ljing and email purposes until them. It seems to reject AIM express. WOE.
All in all, I think I'm doing okay here in Englandland. My sleeping is all crazy though. I keep waking up around 6 am. WTF, me?
Got lost in the rain my first evening here. Me and about five other kids wanted to find a pub after our orientation dinner and ended up wandering to The Eagle And The Child, the pub that C.S. Lewis and Tolkien used to hang out in. After about a drink each, we set out, and had the hardest time finding our bus stops. And none of us had our umbrellas with us. All in all though, it was a pretty fun evening.
I need to get mobile numbers from the other kids in my group though. My host family is nice and all, but hanging around here all weekend disconnected from everything has left me feeling horribly homesick. And I'm too scared to go exploring on my own. New country and all.
Last night was especially bad because I was here all by myself.
I need to put more money on my phone card. I already used a hefty chunk of it calling Vincent and my grandma. But, it helped keep down some of the crying, so I suppose that's good. And if any of you recieve calls from weird looking numbers, that's me calling from England using my phone card, so pick up D:
I'm rambling now. Loneliness FTW. Only not.
Also, there is a place called the Dew Drop Inn. Which is awesome. Even if only Suu gets why it is.
EDIT:
My host family keeps serving me big, heavy dinners. Much more then I normally eat. And I keep forcing myself to eat it all because I feel bad. My stomach is displeased with this course of action and has begun rebelling accordingly. WRRRRRY D:
